WHAT HAPPENED?
The 22-year-old forward, who currently forms part of the Washington Spirit squad in NWSL circles, was strapped into a racing car on a track – with no risks taken on sending her out in race mode. Former Americas Rallycross champion Scott Speed was the man behind the wheel.

WHAT RODMAN SAID
Rodman stated “oh my gosh this is crazy” before clambering into the high-speed vehicle and being allowed to start the roaring engine. Things got real for the United States international from there, as she was left muttering “oh sh*t” when flying down a temporary street circuit and performing celebratory doughnuts.

While looking a little startled at times, the adrenaline rush left Rodman beaming when she stepped out of the car. She screamed: “That was sick. That was awesome. That was the sickest thing ever.” Red Bull have declared that Rodman is now “ready for her next pit stop, the world stage”.
